Connect with nature...

During your stay you will be greeted by our friendly hens, you can feed the ducks and moorhens on the pond, and you may be visited by one of the rehabilitated hedgehogs that Flaxton Meadows cares for in collaboration with local wildlife carers. Working in partnership with Natural England we have provided nest boxes for owls, bats and a range of bird species whose numbers have declined in recent decades.

Webcams have been installed in a number of boxes which can be viewed from the campsite App if you would like to help us monitor the activity. Flaxton Meadows welcomes small, well-behaved dogs that will not disturb the wildlife or other guests. Dogs must be kept on leads when outdoors.

At the end of their stay guests can walk away relaxed and happy knowing that their stay was in a low carbon footprint environment with respect for nature.
