Flaxton Meadows Facilities
We are very proud of the on site facilities available at Flaxton Meadows. Whether you’re staying in a log cabin or using a touring pitch you can enjoy all our luxury facilities.
Washroom
All guests can enjoy use of our state of the art washroom and toilets with thermostatically controlled hot water and underfloor heating utilising natural resources generated onsite. The roof of the washroom has a large overhang, which provides a sheltered walkway around the facility. The roof also provides shading for windows in the summer and shelter for the facility in adverse weather. Air circulates beneath the roof to give the facility natural ventilation and provides a thermal circulation system to generate a constant air temperature. Shower controls are child friendly and the facilities are fully accessible. There are shaving points, hair dryers and hand dryers. Baby changing facilities are available.
Access to the washroom and toilet facilities is 24 hours a day. Please close the washroom door to allow the air cleaning system to operate.
Champers for Campers
Meet your friends and family, relax and enjoy watching the abundance of wildlife at Flaxton Meadows in our Champers for Campers bar. The bar provides refreshments and snacks and will be showing top sporting entertainment for those wishing to view. Enjoy our warm pork scratchings and cool refreshments.
Laundrette
Our low energy/water consumption laundrette is available to all guests. As with all Flaxton Meadows features the appliances are ecologically considerate with minimal impact to the environment. The electricity utilised our camping facilities is generated onsite via solar panels and the water used is filtered and recycled on the grounds.
Access to the laundrette is 24 hours a day.
You will need one-pound coins (£1) to operate the machines in the launderette. Please use your own washing powder.
Nature Trail
As we are so fortunate to have an abundance of flora and fauna we have created a lovely nature trail for children and nature lovers to enjoy. With educational information boards guests can learn about the variety of wildlife, trees and flowers.
You can also challenge yourself to find all the nest boxes we have placed in partnership with Natural England for owls, bats and different species of birds. You may even find one of our hedgehog houses or woodpecker holes. For the keen naturalist we have placed webcams in a selection of the nest boxes so guests can tune in to view activity via the campsite App.

Free Wi-fi is available and guests will be able to download the campsite App to access information and a range of services.
Pets
Flaxton Meadows welcomes small dogs onsite. You are responsible for your pet’s behaviour. Please make sure your pet is under control at all times. Dogs must be kept on a secure lead no more than 2 metres long.
We understand accidents can’t be avoided so please scoop after poop and use the bins provided. Unless you have an assistance dog, dogs aren’t allowed in the toilet blocks, laundry rooms or dishwashing areas. Please use the dog wash provided.
We ask for the consideration of all our guests and wildlife to limit the number of dogs per pitch to 2. Unfortunately, we cannot accept large dogs or dangerous breeds, the biggest dogs we accept are Labradors.
There is a local dog park 0.4 miles away. Directions and telephone number are displayed in the notice board. Please ask at the bar for further information.
